• The Spartans lead the all-time series 89-38 vs. Northwestern and have won 24 of the last 26 games against the Wildcats.
• Alvin Ellis III scored 16 points to lead Michigan State and it was the first time in his career he led the Spartans in scoring. Ellis is the seventh different Spartan to lead MSU in scoring in a game this season.
• Ellis picked up right where he left off after Tuesday's 20-point effort at Minnesota, scoring double digit points in consecutive games for the first time in his career. He also grabbed a career-high eight rebounds.
