EAST LANSING - The Michigan State baseball team will play three exhibition games this fall, beginning with the 10th Annual Crosstown Showdown against the Lansing Lugnuts on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at Cooley Law School Stadium. MSU will also take on Indiana on Sat., Oct. 1 in Bloomington and then host BYU at McLane Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 8.
Tuesday's Crosstown Showdown, which was rescheduled after a rainout in the spring, will feature a home run derby at 5:30 p.m. followed by a seven-inning game at 7:05 p.m. The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative hat featuring the Lugnut and Spartan logos.
Tickets for the Crosstown Showdown can be purchased here or by calling 517-485-4500.
Tickets for the originally scheduled April 6 game between the Spartans and Lugnuts will need to be exchanged for new tickets. Tickets can be exchanged in advance or on game day at the Cooley Law School Stadium box office.
The Spartans' Oct. 1 game at Indiana will be played at 2:30 p.m. in advance of the football game between the two schools that night at 8 p.m. in Bloomington. Game time for the Oct. 8 game vs. BYU has not yet been set.
