With Sunday afternoon's win, Michigan State is now 18-4 on senior day under Tom Izzo.
MSU defeated Wisconsin for the 10th-straight time at the Breslin Center, matching the Spartans longest home-winning streak against the Badgers in the two team's 141-game history. Michigan State is 48-14 all-time against UW in East Lansing and 20-4 in games at Breslin.
Nick Ward led MSU with 22 points and notched his second consecutive 20-point performance on 9-for-12 shooting, while going 4-for-4 at the line. It was the freshman's fifth game with at least 20 points this season, and the Spartans are 5-0 when he does so. Ward also added nine rebounds, six of which came on the offensive glass.
MSU shot 21-for-23 (91.3%) from the free throw line, its highest percentage from the charity stripe this year.
Sophomore Matt McQuaid tallied 15 points to match his season high and it's the most he's scored in a Big Ten game this year.
Point guard Cassius Winston was a stat-sheet-stuffer, tallying 10 points, eight assists and a season-high seven rebounds.
Miles Bridges had his 12th-straight game scoring in double figures with 17 points, adding seven rebounds and four assists.
It was the seventh time this season that at least four players tallied double digit points for the Spartans and they are 6-1 on such occasions.
