Will be a four-year letterwinner at Orchard Lake St. Mary's High School for head coach Matt Petry . . . A two-time All-League and All-District award honoree, as well as earning All-Catholic High School League honors as a sophomore and All-State accolades as a junior . . . Hit .396, with six HR and 36 RBI with a .583 on base percentage as a junior, adding a .952 fielding percentage for the season, in guiding OLSM to the state semifinals before losing to eventual state champion . . . A three-time team captain . . . Rated as the No. 1 shortstop and No. 4 overall player in Michigan by Prep Baseball Report ... Rated as the No. 62 shortstop and No. 351 overall player in the country by PBR . . . Played summer league for Motor City Baseball Club . . . Also played football at OLSM, helping the Eaglets to the state title as a freshman, playing quarterback and safety . . . Son of Fred and Meredith Kark . . . Sister, Delaney Kark is on the MSU Cheerleader team . . . Intends on majoring in business at MSU, with future aspirations of working in professional baseball when his playing career is complete . . .
