Spartans in 60: Cassius Winston

Spartans In:60 is a new series from Michigan State athletics designed to tell the stories of our student-athletes and what shapes them, not only as competitors, but also as students and members of the MSU community.

Sophomore men's basketball player Cassius Winston was an All-Big Ten Third Team honoree and a United States Basketball Writers Association All-District V selection, had an impressive second year with the Spartans, helping lead the team to the 2018 Big Ten Regular Season title and the NCAA Tournament while finishing with a 30-5 record. A native of Detroit, Winston talks about the importance of academics and the work ethic he brings on and off the floor.
