Rowing Announces Signing of 15 Future Spartans

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State has announced that it will welcome 15 student-athletes to rowing program when they enroll at the University in the Fall of 2019.
Maile Barber (Cassopolis, Mich.), Erin Bowling (Williamston, Mich.), Rosemary Gibbons (Evanston, Ill.), Devyn Gordon (Croswell, Mich.), Emily Kellogg (Jenison, Mich.), Olivia Long (Oxford, Mich.), Erica McIntee (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.), Annie McIntosh (DeWitt, Mich.), Sarah Miles (Trenton, Mich.), Victoria Mills (Grand Ledge, Mich.), Bailey Pease (Rochester, Mich.), Emily Petrosky (Middleville, Mich.), Chloe Pirfirio (Chicago, Ill.), Rachel Turpin (Troy, Mich.) and Ellie Vry (Grand Rapids, Mich.) will all enroll at Michigan State University next fall to row for the Green and White.
"I am excited for the 2019 recruiting class as it is comprised of women with great athleticism, character and academic prowess," said Michigan State head coach Matt Weise. "The blend of rowers, coxswains and other sport athletes gives us tremendous potential for speed and depth. I look forward to helping them develop during their careers at Michigan State."
