Celebrate 2019 Weekend Begins With HOF Induction and Letter Jacket Presentation

EAST LANSING -- The Michigan State University Athletics Department honored its past and present on Thursday (Oct. 24) night at the Wharton Center, kicking off Celebrate 2019 weekend with the 10th-annual MSU Hall of Fame and Varsity Letter Jacket Ceremony. Five new members were formally inducted into the MSU Hall of Fame, while over 150 current Spartan student-athletes received their varsity letter jackets from Athletics Director Bill Beekman and their respective coaches.
Dan Bass (football), Karen Dennis (track and field), Mike Donnelly (hockey), Tom Milkovich (wrestling) and Mike Robinson (basketball) received their commemorative plaques and varsity jackets upon their induction on Thursday evening. All five former Spartan standouts will be recognized at halftime of Saturday's football game vs. Penn State.
