No. 9 Michigan State Hosts No. 7 Michigan on Saturday Night

East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State's men's basketball team plays its final regular season game of the season at home on Saturday, March 9, hosting in-state rival Michigan at the Breslin Center. Tipoff is slated for 8 p.m. MSU Athletics is encouraging fans to wear white to the game as part of a White Out at the Breslin Center.
The game will air live on ESPNs, with Jason Benetti calling the play-by-play, Dan Dakich serving as the analyst and Molly McGrath on sidelines. The Spartan Sports Network radio call can be heard on one of 38 affiliates and on the web at SpartanSportsNetwork.com, with Will Tieman handling the play-by-play and Matt Steigenga serving as the color analyst. The game can also be heard on Sirius 93, XM 195 and Internet 957.

Michigan State has won six of its last seven games and enters the game with a 24-6 overall and a 15-4 mark in the Big Ten Conference. The Spartans are ranked No. 9 in the Associated Press poll and No. 11 in the USA Today Coaches poll. - Goins turned down scholarship offers to walk-on at Michigan State in 2014 … A year later, he earned his scholarship and has appeared in more than 120 games in his career, with 44 starts.
- This season, he is averaging eight points and nine rebounds per game, ranking among the top-50 in the country.
- McQuaid is a co-captain and has appeared in more than 130 games during his career.
