Michigan State’s Run Ends With Loss To Texas Tech, 61-51

MINNEAPOLIS - Junior guard Cassius Winston (Detroit, Mich./University of Detroit Jesuit) scored a team-high 16 points, but Michigan State struggled to find its offensive rhythm in a 61-51 loss to West Regional Champion Texas Tech in the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament at U.S. Bank Stadium on Saturday night.
Senior Matt McQuaid (Duncanville, Texas/Duncanville) scored 12 points in his final game for the Spartans and sophomore forward Xavier Tillman (Grand Rapids, Mich./GR Christian) had seven points and eight rebounds.
Freshman forward Aaron Henry (Indianapolis, Ind./Ben Davis) added 11 points and had three rebounds.
