EAST LANSING, Mich. -- The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) announced their Scholar All-America teams for the 2019 Spring Semester. Â
The Spartans were among 480 institutions to be acknowledged for this outstanding achievement.
Â
"I am proud of the team and this is a testament to their work ethic, " said head coach Matt Gianiodis. "I am really happy for Jeremy Flynn who mentors our team from recruiting to orientation to matriculation to graduation and beyond. This is what being a Spartan student-athlete is all about and I think the entire university can be proud of that."
Â
Last week, two Spartans were individually recognized for their work inside the classroom. Scott Piper was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-American First team and Courtney Aycock who was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-American Second Team.
Â
Looking at the 2018-19 Spartans in the pool, both the men and women recorded great amounts of success.
