
Spartans Fall at Penn State in Regular-Season Finale

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan State men's tennis team lost its regular-season finale at Penn State, 6-1, Sunday afternoon at the Sarni Tennis Center on the campus of PSU.
Penn State (7-9, 7-9 Big Ten) opened the dual by taking the doubles point with wins on the first and second courts. The Nittany Lions clinched the victory with four straight wins in singles.
Graydon Lair rallied to defeat Alp Sentay at No. 5 singles to put MSU on the board. After dropping the first set, 7-6, Lair came back with a 6-3 win in the second set and a 10-8 win in the third tiebreaker.
The Spartans (5-13, 5-11) will return to action for the Big Ten Tournament in Lincoln, Nebraska (April 29-May 2). The tournament bracket will be released at a later date.
