EAST LANSING – The Michigan State men's golf team will head to Columbus, Ohio this weekend for the annual Robert Kepler Intercollegiate on Saturday and Sunday at the OSU Golf Club's Scarlet Course. The tournament will be the Spartans' last prior to next weekend's Big Ten Championships.
The tournament will get underway on Saturday with tee times off the first and 10th holes, beginning at 7:30 a.m. The teams will play 36 holes on Saturday, then the final 18 on Sunday, also scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m.

THE COURSE
The Scarlet Course, one of two 18-hole courses at Ohio State, was renovated by Jack Nicklaus in 2006. The par-71 course plays at 7,455 yards.
THE TOURNAMENT
The Spartans are making their sixth appearance in the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate. The last time the tournament was played, Michigan State finished as runners-up in 2019. James Piot was also the individual runner-up in 2019. The Kepler Intercollegiate began in 1969.

MSU is coming off a third-place finish last weekend at the Git-R-Done Husker Invitational … Troy Taylor II had the best finish of his career at the event as he tied for second place at 5-under-par 208, while James Piot placed fourth at 3-under-par 210 … Piot leads MSU in scoring average at 70.9, followed by Andrew Walker at 72.8 and Troy Taylor II at 73.3 … The Spartans have placed in the top three in four of seven events this season and in the top of five of five events.
