Spartans Announce Non-Conference Schedule

EAST LANSING – The Michigan State hockey program has released its 10-game non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2021-22 season. Additionally, the Spartans will play one exhibition game on Oct. 2 when they make the trip to Plymouth to meet the USNTDP U-18 Team at USA Hockey Arena.
Hockey season tickets are now on sale online through the Spartan Ticket Office, as well as in person at 1855 Place (500 S. Harrison Rd.) and via phone at 517-355-1610.
The Spartans will officially begin the 21-22 campaign with consecutive series at Munn Ice Arena. MSU will host Air Force, Oct. 8-9, then former CCHA foe Miami the following weekend, Oct. 15-16.
Michigan State will head to UMass-Lowell, Oct. 22-23, for its lone road non-conference series.
The Spartans will play a home-and-home series against Ferris State with the two teams meeting at Munn on Thursday, Nov. 11, then two days later on Saturday, Nov. 13 in Big Rapids.
MSU will host Western Michigan (Dec. 29) and Michigan Tech (Dec. 30) in the 55th GLI showcase at Munn for its final non-conference games of the year.
The 24-game Big Ten schedule will be announced later this summer.
