Men’s Golf Announces 2021-22 Schedule

EAST LANSING -- The Michigan State men's golf program has released its schedule for the upcoming 2021-22 season. The Spartans will play six tournaments this fall and then five more in the spring leading up to the 2022 Big Ten Championships, April 29-May 1 in French Lick, Indiana.

The Spartans will get the 2021-22 campaign underway in the Upper Peninsula as they'll compete in the Island Resort Intercollegiate, Sept. 5-6, in Harris Michigan. The following week, Sept. 12-13, MSU will head to Independence, Minnesota for the Gopher Invitational. MSU will close the opening month of the season with the Windon Memorial, Sept. 27-28, in Lake Forest, Illinois.
The Spartans will play two familiar tournaments in October, both of which they last played in 2019. MSU will make the trip to Notre Dame for the Fighting Irish Classic, Oct. 4-5. Two weeks later, MSU will head to Vero Beach, Florida to host the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational, Oct. 17-18.
MSU's final event of the fall will be a new one to the program as the Spartans will travel to Wilmington, North Carolina for the Eagle Point Intercollegiate, Oct. 25-26, at Eagle Point Country Club.
The 2022 Big Ten Match Play Championship kicks-off the spring schedule, Feb. 4-5, in Palm Coast, Florida. MSU took third at the event in 2021.
Michigan State will travel to Rio Grande, Puerto Rico for the Puerto Rico Classic. Feb. 13-15.
The Spartans will host the Colleton River Collegiate, March 7-8, at the Colleton River Club in Bluffton, South Carolina.
The month of April begins with a trip to Chambers Bay and the RedHawk Invitational, April 4-5, in University Place, Washington. MSU's last tune-up prior to the Big Ten Championship will be the Robert Kepler Invitational, April 23-24, in Columbus, Ohio.
The six regionals for the 2022 NCAA Championships will be hosted by Texas A&M; Florida Atlantic; Yale; Pacific; Alabama; and Ohio State. NCAA Regionals will take place May 15-18.
The 2022 NCAA Championships will again take place at Greyhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, May 27-June 1.
