Spartans wrap up fall practice slate with annual intrasquad exhibition series.

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State baseball will conclude its fall practice slate with the annual Green-White World Series, starting Sunday. The three-game intrasquad exhibition series will take place at McLane Stadium at Kobs Field. Admission is free.

The 2022 edition of the Green-White World Series opens on Sunday, Oct. 16 with a 1 p.m. first pitch. Sunday is also MSU Parents Day, with an event for the Spartan parents following the game.

Game two is Tuesday, Oct. 18 and the series wraps up Thursday, Oct. 20, with both contests slated for 3:30 p.m. starts.

Junior left-hander Nick Powers will be starting game one for the Green Team, while redshirt-sophomore righty Noah Matheny will be starting for the White Team. Probable pitching starters for games two and three will be game-time decisions.
