GATORS INVITATIONAL HISTORY

The Spartans trailed No. 22 FSU by three shots, but MSU closed with a 288 to come back for the win. It was the third team win of the year for the Spartans. Senior Laura Kueny tied for first place after 54 holes by shooting a 2-over 212 (73-68-71), which also tied her career best three-round total.
MICHIGAN STATE – FLORIDA TIES
When Michigan State tees off on Saturday, the Spartans will be paired with defending national champion Ole Miss, as well as host Florida. For MSU Head Coach Stacy Slobodnik-Stoll, it will be a reunion of sorts, as Florida's head coach is Emily Glaser, who played at Michigan State from 1999-2002. Considered the greatest Spartan golfer of all time, Glaser was an NCAA All-American in 2002, a four-time All-Big Ten selection (1999-2002), the 2002 Big Ten Golf Athlete of the Year and the 1999 Big Ten Freshman of the Year. She set the program's single-season record for stroke average during the 2002 season, while appearing in four NCAA Regionals and three NCAA Championships.
