Four in Double Figures as Michigan State Downs Maryland, 77-67, and Head Coach Tom Izzo Wins 663rd Game to Become Big Ten Leader in Overall Wins

East Lansing, Mich. – Junior forward Malik Hall scored 17 points to lead four players in double figures as Michigan State opened up a 20-point halftime lead and held on to beat Maryland, 77-67, on Senior Day at the Breslin Center.
Senior forward Marcus Bingham Jr. had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds, junior guard Tyson Walker finished with 13 points and five assists, senior forward Gabe Brown scored 10 points with two rebounds and two assists, while redshirt senior forward Joey Hauser had three points, five rebounds and five assists.
The win gave MSU Head Coach Tom Izzo 663 overall wins for his career, passing Bob Knight of Indiana for the most overall wins by a Big Ten Head Coach.

- Michigan State had a 20-point lead at the half (46-26), but Maryland used an early second half run to cut the lead to 10 points and then pulled to within three points, 61-58, with 7:14 left.
