What to Expect on Spartan Hockey Gameday

With the new addition on Munn Ice Arena, a fan's gameday experience for entering the arena may change. Here's what you need to know:

WHERE DO I PARK?
There are no changes to gameday parking for MSU games. Public parking is available for $5 in the lots surrounding Munn Ice Arena. For more information, contact MSU Parking at 517-355-8440. Persons with disabilities parking is located on Birch Rd between Munn Arena and the Breslin Center.

WHAT TIME DO DOORS OPEN?
Doors to Munn Ice Arena open to fans 60 minutes prior to game time.

WHERE CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS?
Fans can purchase tickets for all MSU home hockey games online at MSUSpartans.com. On gameday, tickets are available for purchase up to 60 minutes prior to puck drop at the east and west entrances (off of Birch and Chestnut Roads).

Ticket Issues: Guest Services is located at the ticket office at the south entrance (Hall of Hockey) at Munn.

General Ticket Questions: Call 800-GO-STATE (1-800-467-8283) or visit the Guest Services window at the south entrance.

WHERE DO I PICK UP MY TICKETS?
   Will-call: If your tickets are at will-call, you pick them up at the south entrance of Munn Ice Arena (facing Munn Field/Shaw Lane).
   Player Guests (home and visitor): South entrance (facing Munn Field/Shaw Lane).
   MSU Student-Athletes: North entrance of Munn Ice Arena (facing Dem Hall Road)
   Recruits: South entrance (facing Munn Field/Shaw Lane).
   High School Coaches: South entrance (facing Munn Field/Shaw Lane).

WHERE DO OTHER GROUPS ENTER THE ARENA?
   Media: All media must enter through the new (south) entrance. Computer bags are subject to a bag check upon entry, and this is the only location with a bag check. You will be rerouted if you go to other entry points.
   Students: Student entry remains at the north entrance (facing Dem Hall Road)
   NHL Scouts: Entry is at the north entrance (facing Dem Hall Road)
   Existing Ticket Holders: We encourage ticketholders who are not purchasing or picking up from Will-Call to utilize the north, east and west entrances.

CAN I BRING IN A BAG?
Beginning for the 2022-23 athletics seasons, MSU has begun a clear bag policy which will be strictly enforced. Complete details can be found here

WHAT ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED?
No containers of any kind
No food or drink
No noise makers
No video cameras, camera cases
No cameras or radios larger than 5½ x 8½ x 2
No alcoholic beverages
No firearms or other weapons
No smoking
No strollers
No oversized hats
No seatbacks with a back
No selfie sticks
