Michigan State Baseball Schedule Update: MSU-Northwestern Rained Out Friday, Playing Doubleheader Saturday

Spartans and Wildcats play two Saturday starting at 11:05 a.m., series finale on Sunday at 1:05 p.m.
EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Due to inclement weather in the forecast for Friday evening, the Michigan State baseball series opener vs. Northwestern has been postponed for Friday, April 28, and the teams will now play a doubleheader on Saturday at McLane Stadium at Kobs Field.
The Spartans and Wildcats will now open their three-game Big Ten Conference series with a doubleheader on Saturday, starting at 11:05 a.m., with game two to follow at approximately 2:30 p.m., or 35-45 minutes following the completion of the first game.

This weekend is MSU Baseball Alumni Weekend, as the Spartans will be welcoming past alumni back to campus. Spartan alums will be celebrated and recognized during Saturday's second game, with players being introduced between innings. There will also be a pre-game gathering for alumni and their families. Bob Dilday (class of 1953), will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch before Saturday's game two.
A post-game meet and greet will also take place following the day's second game.
The series finale is slated for Sunday at 1:05 p.m.
Sunday is Retro Sunday at McLane Stadium at Kobs Field. Additionally, MSU Baseball will be celebrating and honoring the Miracle League of Mid-Michigan, with a ceremonial first pitch and recognition throughout the game. Also after Sunday's game, a post-game meet and greet is scheduled, as is Kids Run the Bases.
