MSU-OSU Baseball Series Shifting To Jackson Field

Spartans and Buckeyes will play single game Friday, followed by doubleheader Saturday.
EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Due to the Red Cedar River flooding at Old College Field, Michigan State baseball's three-game Big Ten Conference weekend series against Ohio State has been moved to Jackson® Field™, home of the Lansing Lugnuts, and will be played Friday-Saturday, April 7-8.
The series opens Friday evening with a single game at 6:05 p.m., followed by a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 1:05 p.m.
Fans can follow the weekend's action with "Listen Live" and "Live Stats" links at MSUSpartans, and no video streaming will be available.
MSU just played at Jackson® Fieldâ„¢ on Tuesday night, taking on the Lugnuts in the annual Crosstown Showdown exhibition game.Â
The Spartans are 16-9 overall and 4-2 in B1G action, while the Buckeyes tote a 14-13 overall mark and 1-5 league ledgers into the weekend series.
Michigan State and Ohio State last played a three-game B1G series at Jackson® Field™ in 2008, when it was known as Oldsmobile Park, before MSU's McLane Stadium at Kobs Field was built.
