Michigan State Wraps Up Play at the Fighting Irish Classic

East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State's men's golf team closed out play in the Fighting Irish Classic on Tuesday at the Warren Golf Course in South Bend, Ind.
The Spartans posted an 18-over par 298 in the final round to finish the two-day, 54-hole tournament at 40-over par 880 (296-286-298).
Notre Dame won the tournament at 5-under par 835, 11 shots ahead of second-place Purdue (6-over par 846). Louisville finished in third place, with Little Rock fourth and Tennessee rounded out the top-five teams.
Final Results
Senior Ashton McCulloch was the top finisher for the Spartans, carding an even-par 70 in the final round to finish in a tie for 22nd place at 6-over par 216 (72-74-70).
Freshman Julian Menser tied for 38th place at 8-over par 218 (76-70-72), while junior Caleb Bond tied for 53rd place at 12-over par 222 (75-70-77).
Sophomore Lorenzo Pinili finished in 81st place at 21-over par 231 (73-76-82) and freshman Juan Velasquez placed 83rd at 25-over par 235 (84-72-79).
Playing as an individual, freshman Drew Miller tied for 28th place at 7-over par 217 (74-72-71).
