Men’s Basketball Schedule Updated for Game Times & Television

East Lansing, Mich. – Television and game times for a majority of Michigan State's men's basketball schedule for the 2023-24 season, presented by Rocket Mortgage, were announced on Wednesday afternoon.

The Spartans will play a pair of exhibition games, starting on Sunday, Oct. 13 (1 p.m., BTN), when the Spartans visit Northern Michigan. This will be the first visit for 30th-year Michigan State Head Coach Tom Izzo to his alma mater to coach a game. Izzo was a 1977 graduate of Northern Michigan.

The second exhibition is slated for Tuesday, Oct. 29 (7 p.m., B1G+) against Ferris State at the Breslin Center.

Michigan State officially opens the 2024-25 regular season on Monday, Nov. 4 (7 p.m., B1G+), hosting Monmouth at the Breslin Center.

Big Ten Conference play starts on Wednesday, Dec. 4 (8:30 p.m., BTN) when the Spartans visit Minnesota. The team's Big Ten home opener is on Saturday, Dec. 7 (noon, BTN).
