
Richardson Scores 13 to Help Lead Michigan State Past Colorado, 72-56, in Maui Invitational

LAHAINA, Hawaii – Freshman guard Jase Richardson scored 13 points and 10 different players scored for Michigan State's men's basketball team as the Spartans beat Colorado, 72-56, in the first round of the Maui Invitational on Monday afternoon at the Lahaina Civic Center.
Richardson set a career-high with 13 points, while senior center Szymon Zapala added seven points and a game-high eight rounds, senior forward Frankie Fidler had nine points and six rebounds, while redshirt freshman guard Jeremy Fears Jr. finished with eight points and dished out a game-high six assists.
