Big Ten Announces 2024-25 Men’s Basketball Conference Opponents

East Lansing, Mich. – The Big Ten Conference announced home and away opponents for the 2024-25 men's basketball season on Wednesday.
The league will play a 20-game conference schedule, seven home only and seven away only, and then then playing three opponents both home and away.
MSU will play both home and away against Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota.
Big Ten opponents to visit the Breslin Center include Indiana, Nebraska, Penn State, Purdue and Wisconsin, as well as new Big Ten Conference members Oregon and Washington.
The Spartans will pay visits to Iowa, Maryland, Northwestern, Ohio State and Rutgers, as well as new conference members UCLA and USC.
Michigan State finished the 2023-24 season with a 20-15 overall record and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Spartans were selected to play in the NCAA Tournament for the 26th-straight season, a Big Ten record, but also the third-longest streak in NCAA history and officially recognized by the NCAA as the longest active streak.
