Spartan Women’s Basketball to Play at the Acrisure Classic

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State Women's Basketball will take part in the Acrisure Classic during Thanksgiving week in Palm Springs, California, Nov. 26-27.
Michigan State will take on California on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 1:30 p.m. ET. It will just be the third all-time meeting between MSU and Cal. Overall, the series between Spartans and the Bears is knotted at 1-1 with both games taking place in Berkeley. The two teams have not met since 1996.
The second game of the Acrisure Classic first round will be Vanderbilt taking on Arizona at 4 p.m. ET.
On Wednesday, Nov. 27, the third-place game will tip off at 1:30 p.m. ET. The Acrisure Classic Championship game is set for 4 p.m. ET.
The Acrisure Classic is a part of the Acrisure Series, the country's largest MTE series, (multiple team event) which will be held at the beautiful new 11,000-seat Acrisure Arena. The Acrisure Classic boasts some of the nation's strongest programs as Arizona, Vanderbilt and Michigan State all made the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

In MSU head coach Robyn Fralick's first season at the helm of the Spartans, Michigan State went 22-9 overall and 12-6 in Big Ten action. The Spartans earned the double bye in the Big Ten Tournament and later reached the NCAA Tournament.
The Spartans returns first-team All-Big Ten guard/forward Julia Ayrault and guard Theryn Hallock, who was the Big Ten's Sixth Player of the Year.
Tickets for the Acrisure Invitational will go on sale on Friday, June 7, at 10 a.m. PST (1 p.m. EST) and will be available at the Acrisure Arena box office, online at acrisurearena.com and Ticketmaster.com, the official ticketing provider of Acrisure Arena. One ticket is admission for the entire day, and can be used to watch any and all games played in Acrisure Arena on that day.
