Spartans Rank Among the Top in the Nation for Second-Straight Year to Earn WGCA All-Scholar Team Award

East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State's women's golf team finished sixth in the country among all Division I schools in cumulative grade-point average as the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) recognized schools with the All-Scholar Team Award.
The Spartans posted a 3.874 cumulative grade-point average to rank No. 6 nationally.
This is the second-straight year MSU has been among the top-25 teams, ranking third in 2022-23.
Michigan State was just one of four schools nationally to rank among the top-25 in grade-point average and to advance to the NCAA Championships (Oregon State, San Jose State and Vanderbilt).
The women's golf program has continued to set the standard for excellence both academically and athletically at MSU, winning the Athletic Director's Award at the Academic Awards Gala in May for an impressive 11th time, more than any other women's team.
In addition, the 3.874 cumulative team GPA is the all-time highest in the Athletic Department, surpassing the team's mark of 3.858 last year.
