Spartan Women’s Tennis Announces 2024-25 Schedule

MSU to partake in several fall events before having 24-match spring season with 13 B1G matches.
EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State women's tennis team announced their full 2024-25 season schedule on Monday.
The Spartans will partake in several fall events before embarking on a 24-match spring season, including 13 Big Ten Conference matches.
The Green & White open their fall 2024 tournament season with the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American Championship from September 21-28 in Cary, North Carolina. Closer to home, the Spartans are to compete in the Toledo Rocket Invitational from September 27-28 in Toledo, Ohio. MSU returns to Ohio on Oct. 10-14 for the ITA Midwest Regional Championships in Columbus, Ohio.
MSU finishes its fall tournament season with two tournaments back home in East Lansing: the Michigan State Classic, presented by Auto-Owners Insurance on October 25-27 and the Spartan Invite from November 1-3.
The 2025 spring dual match season kicks off in Spokane, Washington with matches against Gonzaga (January 17) and Washington State (January 19).
Michigan State returns home a week later to host its first home series against Xavier and West Virginia from January 24-26. Continuing the home stretch, the Spartans host a doubleheader against Western Michigan and Eastern Michigan on February 2.
Back on the road, the Spartans travel to Lynchburg, Virginia for matches against James Madison (February 15) and Liberty (February 16). MSU returns home for its second doubleheader of the season against Youngstown State and Ball State on February 23.
A meeting with Columbia on March 2 at their home court in New York City serves as the final preparation prior to B1G action.
Big Ten conference action commences in Iowa against the Hawkeyes on March 7 and continues against the Huskers in Nebraska on March 9. The excitement continues back in East Lansing with the Spartans hosting B1G opponents Penn State (March 15) and Ohio State (March 16).
The Spartans take a trip to the west coast for a Big Ten showdown against new league opponents USC (March 22) and UCLA (March 23).
Michigan State returns to East Lansing to welcome Northwestern (March 28) and Illinois (March 30). Heading south, the Green & White face off against Purdue (April 5) and Indiana (April 6).
Closing out the home season, MSU competes against new B1G opponents Washington (April 12) and Oregon (April 13). To conclude the regular season, the Spartans travel to Ann Arbor for a match against Michigan on April 19.
The Big Ten Championships are set in Ojai, California with dates still to be determined.
