
Six Spartans Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Â Â Six Michigan State men's soccer players were named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors on Tuesday.
Senior defender Josh Adam started all 16 games for the Spartans, playing over 1,400 minutes. In his final game, he scored his first career goal against No. 1 Maryland on Nov. 7. The Brighton, Michigan native has a 3.59 GPA in lifelong education.
Junior defender Will Eby played in all 16 games, starting 15. This is his first appearance on the All-District squad. The Northville, Michigan native has a 4.0 in mechanical engineering.
Senior forward Jack Guggemos is making his second-straight appearance on the All-District team. He played in all 16 games this season, starting 12. He ended the season with two assists. In the classroom, Â the Okemos,Michigan native earned a 3.79 GPA, majoring in supply chain management.
This is the second-straight season that senior goalkeeper Zac Kelly was named All-District. On the pitch he started all 16 games for MSU, allowing only 23 goals for a 1.45 GAA. He captured second-team All-Big Ten honors. The Holt, Michigan native holds a 3.80 GPA in crop and soil sciences.
Junior midfielder Richie Ludwig was third on the team in scoring with four goals and one assist for nine points. He started 15 games for the Green and White this year. The Clarkston, Michigan native has a 3.56 GPA in supply chain management.
The final Spartan to be honored is senior defender Jake Spadafora. He played in 15 games, logging in over 1,000 minutes. The Northville, Michigan native has a 3.59 GPA in advertising management.
Michigan State ended the season with a 5-8-3 record.
