No. 9 Michigan State Hosts Oregon in Saturday Noon Matchup at the Breslin Center

East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State's men's basketball team returns back to the Breslin Center for the first of two-straight home games, hosting Oregon in a Big Ten Conference game on Saturday, Feb. 8 (noon, FOX).

The game will air live on FOX, with Brandon Gaudin and LaPhonso Ellis calling all of the action. The Spartan Media Network radio call can be heard state-wide and on the web at MSUSpartans.com, with Will Tieman handling the play-by-play and Matt Steigenga serving as the color analyst, and Zach Surdenik is the studio host. The game can also be heard on channel 81 on SiriusXM and on the SiriusXM app.

Michigan State enters Saturday's game with an 18-4 overall record (9-2 B1G) and are No. 9 in the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches polls.
The Spartans are ranked No. 21 in the NCAA Net Rankings, No. 16 per KenPom.com and No. 17 in the ESPN BPI.
The Spartans, who had a 13-game win streak end in a loss at USC last Saturday, have just one player (Jaden Akins) scoring in double figures.

Redshirt freshman guard Jeremy Fears Jr. is averaging 7.7 points and a team-leading 6.2 assists per game, which ranks 3rd in the Big Ten, while Holloman adds 8.0 points and 3.6 assists (3.6 in B1G, 14th).
MSU is averaging 23.0 FT attempts per game (No. 26 in the country) after going to the line 17.2 times per game in 2023-24 and the Spartans rank No. 4 in the country in free throw percentage (80.5%) and No. 8 in free throws made per game (18.5).

MSU won the last meeting, 74-70, on Nov. 25, 2022 in the second round of the Phil Knight Invitational in Oregon.
Oregon's last win in the series was an 87-82 decision on Dec. 27, 1969 in the Far West Classic in Portland, Ore.
