Adrian Set to Compete at NCAA Indoor Championships Friday

East Lansing, Mich. - Michigan State track & field thrower Elle Adrian will be competing at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in the weight throw.

The championships will be held in Virginia Beach, Virginia March 14-15.

The women's weight throw will take place on Friday, March 14 beginning at 2:15 p.m. Adrian positioned 14th out of 16 student-athletes.

The Standish, Michigan, will be competing in her first NCAA Indoor Championship as a junior.

On Feb. 8, Adrian broke the Michigan State school record in the weight throw with a throw of 22.35 meters at the Michigan Invitational. At the Big Ten Championships (Feb. 28 - Mar. 1) Adrian finished fourth in the weight throw with a toss of 22.32 meters.

ESPN+ will stream the championships live Friday, March 14 beginning at 9:15 a.m. Eastern and 9:30 a.m. Eastern on Sunday March 15. There will be a re-air of the championship at 7 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday, March 16 on ESPNU.
