EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State Athletics and PNC Bank are partnering to recognize the PNC Achievers Student-Athletes of the Month. Throughout the 2024-25 season, deserving Spartan student-athletes will be recognized for displaying well-rounded achievement through leadership in the classroom, in the community, and in competition.
The March honorees feature Adam Blue (men's track and field) and Anyssa Hall (women's track and field).
Blue, who earned Academic All-Big Ten honors last season, has a 3.48 grade-point average as an economics major. He posted an indoor season-best mark of 4.89 meters in the pole vault to finish second at the Lenny Lyles Invite in Louisville, Kentucky. During last year's outdoor season, Blue finished first in the pole vault at the Jim Green Classic in Lexington, Kentucky, with a personal-best of 5.12 meters.
Hall owns a 3.91 grade-point average and although she is just a junior, she will be graduating with her bachelor's degree in journalism following the spring semester. She is involved with the Spartan Sports Report and will be a CBS Sports Ambassador in 2025. A native of New Castle, Indiana, Hall ran a season and personal best time of 24.45 seconds in the 200 meters at the Jim Greene Invite in Lexington, Kentucky, last April. She also competed in the 200 meters during the 2025 indoor season and ran a 24.7 in the 200 at the 2025 Big Ten Indoor Championships. Hall is on track to earn Academic All-Big Ten honors for the second year in a row.
