Big Ten Announces 2025-26 Women’s Basketball Home and Away Opponents

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State women's basketball and the Big Ten Conference announced the 2025-26 conference breakdown on Wednesday.
For the fifth-straight season, the Big Ten will play an 18-game schedule, after playing a 20-game schedule during the 2020-21 campaign. The conference also played an 18-game league schedule in both 2018-19 and 2019-20.
The rivalry between MSU and Michigan remains intact, playing both in East Lansing and Ann Arbor. The Spartans will play at Oregon and Washington for the first time since the Ducks and Huskies joined the Big Ten before the 2024-25 season.
In East Lansing, Michigan State will face Illinois, Maryland, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, Rutgers, UCLA and USC. On the road, MSU will take on Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, Washington and Wisconsin.
The complete schedule with the dates will be announced at a later date.
Michigan State reached the NCAA Tournament for the second-straight season under Robyn Fralick, reaching the second round. The Spartans ended the season with a 22-10 record, going 11-7 in Big Ten action. Michigan State returns two of its top three scorers in Grace Van Slooten and Theryn Hallock. Van Slooten led the team in scoring, averaging 15.5 ppg, while Hallock was third with 13.3 ppg.
