Rowers Earn Top Academic Honors From CRCA

East Lansing, Mich. -- Fourteen Michigan State rowers have been honored by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) with the 2025 CRCA Scholar-Athlete Award. These athletes represent the highest standards of excellence in both academic achievement and athletic performance across all divisions of collegiate women's rowing.
The CRCA Scholar-Athlete Award recognizes collegiate rowers who demonstrate a strong commitment to success in the classroom and on the water. Criteria for selection is a sophomore academic standing, a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and rowed both 75% of the season – including the conference championship – in an NCAA eligible boat (varsity eight, second varsity eight, and varsity four).
A total of 990 rowers met these criteria across Divisions I, II and III, with the average GPA of the group a 3.75.
