Hockey in National Television Spotlight to Open Series at BU

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State hockey's series opener at Boston University on Friday, October 17 at Agganis Arena will be nationally televised on ESPNU, as announced on Friday.
Originally slated for a 7 p.m. start, the game will now begin at 6:30 p.m. The series will conclude with game two on Saturday, October 18 at 7 p.m. Both games will be available for streaming on ESPN+.
Michigan State and Boston University are deadlocked at 9-9 all-time in the series history and haven't met since October 24, 2014 in Boston. MSU's last victory over the Terriers came in East Lansing on October 26, 2013 by a final score of 3-1 when third period goals from Brent Darnell, Joe Cox and Greg Wolfe erased a 1-0 BU lead.
