Gymnastics Announces 2025-26 Team Captains

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State gymnastics head coach Mike Rowe announced seniors Sage Kellerman, Stephanie Lebster and Olivia Zsarmani as team captains for the upcoming 2026 season.Â
Kellerman will serve her second season as a captain, while the upcoming season will be the first for Lebster and Zsarmani.Â
"We are thrilled to have Sage, Liv and Steph represent Spartan gymnastics as our tri- captains this year," said Rowe. "Not only are they great teammates, but each one of them brings unique intangibles and strong core values that will continue to nurture our team culture while enhancing the accountability, grit and sass of Team 52 in both the academic and athletic areas while mentoring our leaders of the future."Â
Kellerman, a native of Croswell, Michigan, is a two-time NCAA All-American and three-time Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA)Â Regular Season All-American. Last season, she was named First Team All-Big Ten for the second-straight year and became the first-ever Big Ten Specialist of the Year. In the classroom, Kellerman is a three-time WCGA Scholastic All-American, two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar.Â
Lebster is a three-time WCGA Scholastic All-American and two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and Big Ten Distinguished Scholar. The Holland, Michigan, native was the team's recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award at the 2025 MSU Student-Athlete Support Services Gala, awarded to the student-athlete with the highest GPA on each team. Last season, she made four exhibition appearances on floor.Â
Zsarmani, who hails from Statesville, North Carolina, earned Second Team NCAA All-America nods on both vault and bars at the NCAA Championships last season and was named a WCGA Regular Season All-American on vault. She also won Big Ten vault title, earned Second Team All-Big Ten honors and was MSU's recipient of the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award in 2025. Zsarmani is a two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and 2025 WCGA Scholastic All-American.Â
