Hosler Announces Three Transfer Student-Athletes for 2026

East Lansing, Mich. --Â Michigan State women's soccer coach Jeff Hosler has announced the addition of three transfer student-athletes who will join the Spartans in advance of the 2026 season.Â

Juniors Jasmine Boggs (Ashburn, Virginia/Tennessee) and Faith George (Laguna Hills, Calif./USC) have enrolled at Michigan State for the Spring 2026 semester, while Bella Schopp (Hinsdale, Ill.) will graduate from Brown University this spring and enroll for her graduate studies in the summer.Â

The three upperclassmen will join an MSU program coming off a 2025 season in which it advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the fourth consecutive year and made its first-ever Elite Eight appearance. MSU finished second in the Big Ten with a 15-4-6 overall mark and 7-1-3 mark in Conference games; the Spartans fell in penalty kicks in the Big Ten Tournament championship.Â

2025 (Senior, at Brown): Carried the bulk of the team minutes in net in her senior season, starting 12 of 13 games … Posted a 1.09 GAA and .647 save percentage, , with a 5-3-4 record and a pair of shutouts … Posted a season-high four saves in a 1-1 draw at Hofstra (9/11) and matched that total 10 days later in a 5-2 win at Yale (9/21) … Stopped three shots in a tie at Harvard (10/18).

Academic All-Ivy selection …  Schopp started in 16 out of 17 games Schopp recorded five shutouts in 2024 while making five or more saves on five separate occasions, including her career best (7) in a 1-1 draw with Indiana (9/1) … Allowed two or more goals in just three of 16 contests.
2023 (Sophomore, at Brown):Â Made two starts and two appearances as a sophomore. Notched her sixth-career shutout in a 6-0 win over Albany (Aug. 25). Helped Brown win its fourth consecutive and league-leading 16th Ivy league title.
2022 (Freshman, at Brown) : Earned Honorable Mention All-Ivy honors... Played in 11 games, making 10 starts in goal for the Ivy champions ... Posted a 7-1-2 record with four shutouts ... Posted team-leading 0.53 goals against average and .821 save percentage ... Led Ivy League in goals against average and was second in save percentage ... Picked up the win in goal in NCAA Tournament First Round game at Rutgers (Nov. 12) for team's first NCAA Tournament win since 1994 ... Helped Brown win its third straight and league-leading 15th Ivy League Title.
