EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State senior men's golfers Ashton McCulloch and Caleb Bond closed out their seasons today at the NCAA Columbus Regional, played at the OSU Golf Club in Columbus, Ohio.

The Spartans were among a group of 45 individuals (and 71 teams) selected to play in one of six regionals leading up to the NCAA Championships, which will be held from May 29 to June 3 at the Omni LaCosta Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif. The top five teams and the low individual at each regional will advance to the finals.

McCulloch shot a 3-over par 74 on Wednesday and tied for 27th place at 10-over par 223 (73-76-74).

Bond, meanwhile, shot a 5-over par 76 in the third round and tied for 36th place at 12-over par 225 (74-75-76).

This marked the 10th-straight year the Spartans have been represented in an NCAA Regional, with team appearances from 2016-19 and 2022-25 and individuals reaching a regional in 2021 (James Piot) and now in 2026.
