DANTONIO ON DUPLAIN:
“J.D. played offensive line and defensive line in high school, but projects right now to be a defensive lineman. We recruited him as a power athlete. He can snatch and clean 350 pounds, and bench presses 225 15 to 18 times. He’s got a lot of shock, a lot of ability to run and move. You could see him possibly as an offensive lineman, I don't think there's any question that's a possibility or a reality, but we'll work with him on defense initially to see how he moves on that side of the ball. I think he has a huge upside. He’s 6-3 and an athletic 303 pounds.”
DEFENSIVE LINE COACH RON BURTON ON DUPLAIN:
“J.D. is a dual player with incredible power, strength and knowledge.”
