DANTONIO ON BARNETT:
“Julian is one of the top players in the state of Michigan and an Under Armour All-American. He’s also the No. 1 ranked cornerback in the state of Michigan. When you watch the highlight film, there's no question he can also play receiver for us; he’s just all over the place and can play multiple positions. He hits with shock and has the potential to be an immediate contributor. I believe that's going to happen. Julian was one of the first commits for the 2019 season and has been with us throughout the entire way. We’re very excited about Julian and what he's doing.”
SECONDARY COACH PAUL HAYNES ON BARNETT:
“Julian has great ball skills, size and ability. He’s tough and comes from a great program. He’s a playmaker.”
