MSU Student-Athletes Garner Academic All-Big Ten Honors
49 Spartans among those honored.

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Big Ten has announced its Academic All-Big Ten teams for the spring sports and 49 Michigan State student-athletes are among those being honored.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten recognition a student-athlete must be a letterwinner in at least their second academic year at the institution and carry a cumlative grade-point average of 3.0 or better.
The Spartan crew team led all sports with nine honorees. Senior distance runner, Leah Nilsson (Williamston, Mich.) was listed as a Big Ten notable as she maintained a 3.97 GPA in education.
