CARLSBAD, Calif. - Michigan State fans have until 2 p.m. (Eastern) Friday to bid on a one-of-a-kind experience school's ongoing auction, at www.msuspartans.com/ebay. Note that the ending time listed on the auction is Pacific Daylight Time.
Watch the game from the sidelines as the Michigan State football team takes on Iowa at Spartan Stadium on September 27, 2003! Become an honorary team Captain and join the Spartan Captains for the pre-game coin toss. Witness the entrance of the band, Sparty, and the Spartan football team from the Spartan Stadium Tunnel. Remain on the field and enjoy the action for the entire game!
- Two (2) Sideline passes
- Two (2) Witness the on-field coin toss
- Enter the game through the tunnel entrance
- Run from the tunnel onto the field with the team and pose for a picture on the field (must provide own camera)
Payment must be made within ONE HOUR of the conclusion of this auction. Your guest and you will be contacted by the athletic department shortly thereafter to make arrangements for your experience at Spartan Stadium.
Proceeds from this auction will benefit the Michigan State University Athletic Department. The auction is part of a nationwide program with eBay Sports and OCSN, which partners with Michigan State and 144 university athletic departments and conferences to manage and maintain Official Athletic Sites.
During the season, college football fans who show team spirit by buying licensed merchandise and memorabilia will make their dollars go the distance. From September through December, eBay Sports will track the amount of money collectively spent per team and release weekly top 25 standings. When the contest ends in January 2004, eBay will give the school that generates the most in sales a $25,000 donation to be used toward a scholarship-scoring a major victory for education.
