Stanley Cup Scheduled For Appearance At Spartan Stadium
Fans will have an opportunity to take photographs with the trophy prior to Saturday's MSU-Northwestern football game.

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Stanley Cup will be on display outside Spartan Stadium from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 prior to Michigan State's Big Ten football opener against Northwestern. The 109-year-old trophy will be displayed outside the northwest gates (No. 13-16) of Spartan Stadium.
Fans are encouraged to bring their cameras to photograph the trophy. Those fans wishing to pose for individual photographs with the Stanley Cup will be charged $5, with proceeds going to the MSU Athletics Department and The Children's Miracle Network.
Last June, the Detroit Red Wings won their 10th Stanley Cup, defeating the Carolina Hurricanes, 3-1, in Game 5.
