Dantonio on Alexander: "Javez played quarterback and safety throughout high school, but came to our camp as a wide receiver and had a tremendous showing. He tested extremely well and was fluid catching the ball, so we decided to offer him as a wide receiver. He gives us another multi-faceted athlete, who is big, athletic and explosive, much like (current Spartan freshman) Cody White. Javez is also one of the best students in his class."
