Saban Remains Committed to MSU
MSU Head Coach Nick Saban:
"This is the time of year when people begin speculating about coaching changes at both the collegiate and professional levels. And I do not want this to become a three-ring circus and a distraction to our football team.
"I have not been contacted by any NFL team. As I have said numerous times, I have the job that I want as head coach at Michigan State. In the short term, my only concern is getting this team prepared to play a bowl game. In the long term, I'm concerne d about building a Michigan State football program that will compete for Big Ten championships on a regular basis.
"Rumors will not become a distraction to the tasks at hand. I'm happy at Michigan State."
