MSU Football Accepts Aloha Bowl Bid
EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Following Saturday's 49-14 victory over Penn State, Michigan State accepted a bid to the Dec. 25 Aloha Bowl in Honolulu, Hawaii.
"This was a great win for the program," Athletics Director Merritt J. Norvell, Jr., said. "I'm proud of the way the team responded after the four-game losing streak. I congratulate Coach Saban and his staff and the players on a fine finish. They paid the price and deserve this rewarding bowl trip."
The Spartans, who finished the regular season at 7-4 (4-4 Big Ten), will face an opponent to be determined.
