Ranked one of the top junior college offensive tackle recruits in the nation by 247Sports (No. 4) . . . rated one of the top 50 junior college prospects in the country by 247Sports (No. 48) . . . attended Independence Community College in Kansas but did not see game action in 2020 after the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic . . . also played basketball in high school at Southfield AT&T High School and was named an honorable mention selection to the Detroit Free Press All-North Team as a senior in 2019.

He’s really improved on his physicality during his time at Independence JUCO, and he shows toughness and finish as a run blocker and has great athletic ability, patience and anchors down as a pass blocker. He’s also played basketball in high school, so he has good footwork."
