HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-year letterwinner at Dunlap High School for coach Eric Stone, helping the Eagles to a share of the Mid-Illini Conference title, leading Dunlap to just its second Mid-Illini league crown in program history during sophomore season, for the first postseason plaque for the Eagles since a 2019 Class 3A Elite Eight appearance, as the Eagles made it to the Class 3A sectional semifinals ... Led Dunlap to a 29-7 record as a senior, after a 28-8 mark in junior season, winning the regional title in both seasons ... Was a two-time IHSBCA 3A All-State selection ... Named the Mid-Illini Conference Player of the Year as a senior and a two-time All-MIC First-Team honoree ... Also a two-time First-Team Peoria Journal Star All-Area team and was named the Peoria Journal Star Player of the Year as a senior ... Named a Third-Team All-State selection by Prep Baseball Report ... Batted .495 on 52 hits, finishing second in school history and just one hit shy of the school record ...
