CAREER NOTES: A two-time College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honoree (2023 and 2025) ... Graduated with his master’s in accounting with a 3.854 GPA ... A four-time Academic All-Big Ten and Big Ten Distinguished Scholar honoree ... A two-time recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award at the Spartan Academic Excellence Gala ... Transferred to MSU from Furman prior to the fall of 2020, after Furman announced that it had discontinued baseball in May of 2020 ... 2025 (REDSHIRT-SENIOR): Earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District accolades ... Recipient of three MSU team awards, earning the Steve Garvey Most Improved Player, Jerry Sutton Student-Athlete and the Craig Hendricks Spartan Spirit Awards ... Shared the team lead in both appearances and games in relief with 20, while also ranking second in games finished (8), tied for second in saves (2) and ranking fourth in ERA (3.90) ... Was also instrumental to the Spartan pitching staff and the entire team during MSU assistant coach/pitching coach Mark Van Ameyde’s absence from the team from mid-March, undergoing a successful kidney transplant on March 20 before rejoining the team on April 26 ... Earned Big Ten Co-Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 21, for his performance in Michigan State’s 7-4 win over Fresno State on Feb. 19 in the MLB Desert Invitational in Phoenix ...
