2007-08 (Freshman): Played in 21 games in his first season in Green & White ... Scored his first collegiate goal in his season debut against Northern Michigan (10/26) ... Added his second career goal in second period of the eventual 3-3 stalemate with Minnesota (11/23) ... Saw action in MSU[apos]s tie in the series finale of the Michigan series (1/26) ... Had an outstanding performance in game two of the Nebraska-Omaha series (2/2), talling a second-period goal and two assists for his career first multi-point game; his assist on Bryan Lerg[apos]s goal in the opening period was the first in his career, while his second assist came on Tim Crowder[apos]s game winner in the second period, scored 27 seconds after his own ... Assisted on Tim Crowder[apos]s second-period goal in game two of the Western Michigan series (2/16) ... Prior to MSU: Spent two seasons with the Sioux City Musketeers of the United States Hockey League (USHL), where he played with classmate Dustin Gazley ... Helped the Musketeers to a team-record 13-game winning streak in 2006-07 ... Appeared in 110 games during his two-year stint in the USHL, recording 27 goals, 23 assists (50 points) with five power-play goals ... Played for the US Midwest team which won a gold medal at the International Challenge Cup in Prague, Czech Republic, in the summer of 2004 ...
