Opted to forego his final season of collegiate eligibility, signing a professional contract with the Philadelphia Flyers on May 6, 2010. 2009-10 (Junior): Named an alternate captain, along with classmate Corey Tropp, in pre-season camp ... Played in all 38 games, and was fourth on the team in scoring with 28 points ... Ranked second on the team and 12th in the CCHA with 15 goals, his career best ... Added 11 assists ...
