Meaghan Faucher returns to the Michigan State rowing program in the fall of 2022 as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2022-23 team. Faucher was a four-year standout rower for the Green & White from 2016 to 2019.
An Honorable Mention All-American, three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection, Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, and a First Team All-Big Ten honoree in the 2019 campaign, Faucher stands out as one of the most decorated former student-athletes in program history. Beginning her career as a novice during the 2016 season, Faucher helped lead the novice eight to a competitive sixth-place result at the Big Ten Championships. From there, Faucher's career took off, as she helped lead the Spartans to three Big Ten Championship regatta appearances in the varsity eights.Â
Faucher also has significant experience rowing on a global stage, as she represented Michigan State University as a part of Team USA in the World University Championships in China.
A native of Brighton, Michigan, Faucher graduated from Detroit Country Day School in the spring of 2016. Faucher is a 2019 graduate of Michigan State University, and currently resides in the greater Lansing area. She is pursuing a degree in medicine at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
